Paul Li is a screen scoring composer and pianist. He was trained from a young age and thus developed a deep passion for music performance and composition. He specializes in composing music for video games and animation. With broad intellectual interests and an extensive knowledge base, he completed a double major in Piano Performance and Mathematics at New York University, followed by a master degree in Data Science at Columbia University. Afterward, he chose to follow his heart and go to USC, studying Screen Scoring.

Like his idol Frédéric Chopin, he is good at capturing the emotions of images and characters, drawing on the styles and textures he has learned from those great composers, and expressing them in his own voice. He enjoys exploring harmonies and motives, placing them within visual narratives and giving them meaning. He has composed music for a number of engaging games. He also scored animated projects for his friends, which he finds both fulfilling and deeply enjoyable.

He is a dedicated creator who strives to achieve the highest standard in every aspect of his work, and is eager to collaborate with more interesting artists from diverse backgrounds. So, feel free to contact me if you resonate with my style(¯︶¯).
