Jennifer Phan is a film composer, music producer, and songwriter originally from Hanoi, Vietnam. A lifelong movie and soundtrack enthusiast, she is especially drawn to animation, drama, action, and comedy. Her music blends classical orchestration with contemporary production, creating a distinctive hybrid sound shaped by influences from orchestral, folk, pop, rock, electronic, and other contemporary genres.

Her original music can be heard in After Midnight (dir. Fin Tran), which premiered at the 2026 Long Beach QFilm Festival and Palm Springs CineVerse. She has also served as director and lead arranger for the Rock Symphonic concert series, creating large-scale arrangements that bring orchestras and contemporary bands together across genres. Her experience as a producer, songwriter, and recording, mixing, and mastering engineer further informs her collaborative and genre-flexible approach to composing for media.

A recent graduate of the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami, Jennifer holds a B.M. in Media Scoring and Production with a minor in Composition. She is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Screen Scoring at the USC Thornton School of Music.

Jennifer is always excited to connect with filmmakers, animators, game developers, and other creatives looking to collaborate and bring their stories to life through music!
