Jisu is a screen scoring composer, contemporary music composer, and orchestrator known for bringing visual media to life through her elegant and sophisticated musical voice. She has built a strong foundation of industry experience by contributing to major projects for global streaming platforms, including Disney+ and Netflix.

Deeply rooted in classical composition, Jisu possesses an exceptional flair for seamlessly blending traditional cinematic storytelling with modern production. She excels in crafting intricate orchestrations that span period dramas, genre films, and sci-fi projects, carving out a unique sonic identity driven by her profound passion for hybrid scoring.

Her talent continues to gain international recognition. She recently placed in the Top 19 at the prestigious 2026 FMF Young Talent Award, which followed a Top 20 finish at the 2024 Oticons Faculty Film Scoring Competition, further affirming her global appeal.

Jisu laid a rigorous musical foundation at Ewha Womans University in Seoul, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Composition on a full scholarship. Continuing her pursuit of excellence, she will expand her musical spectrum in the Master of Music in Screen Scoring program at the University of Southern California (USC) starting in Fall 2026.
